Having graduated from Edinburgh University in 1970, Andrew completed his Legal Apprenticeship in Edinburgh and after gaining further experience in a large Edinburgh Firm joined Iain Smith & Partners in the summer of 1975, being assumed a Partner in 1978. Andrew’s experience and interests lie principally in Property and he is head of the Firm’s Property Department, dealing with both Residential and Commercial property transactions as well as Wills and Executries. He is a Writer to the Signet and Notary Public.
